Southeast Georgia Health System Foundation is creating awareness and support for the Southeast Georgia Health System community. The profound impacts of your generosity can be seen in all aspects of our Health System. There are countless examples of compassion, stories of hope and simple gifts of gratitude. Gifts of support can be designated for a certain purpose or gifts can be contributed for our greatest need. Whatever way you choose, you can know that your gift makes a difference to the patients and families depending on our Health System.
The Foundation’s Impact
The Foundation has played a vital role as a supporting partner to the Health System, helping advance key initiatives that enhance the level of care available to our community. Through philanthropic support, the Foundation has contributed to a wide range of priorities that strengthen services, expand access, and improve the overall patient experience. Notable investments include expansion and renovation of the Brunswick Campus, the acquisition of a new Wellness on Wheels (WOW) mobile 3D mammography vehicle, and the implementation of online scheduling technology to improve convenience and access for patients. Additionally, the Foundation helps to fund Nunnally House, which provides warm , comfortable lodging for in-treatment cancer patients, family members of critical care patients, rotating medical students and on-call Health System team members. These efforts represent just a few examples of the many ways the Foundation continues to make a meaningful and lasting impact.
